Chris Hivick Joins Fiala & Weaver P.L.L.C.

Press Release January 2018 – Fiala & Weaver P.L.L.C. announces that Chris Hivick has joined the firm as an attorney. Prior to joining Fiala & Weaver, Mr. Hivick was an attorney for a multinational telecommunications and entertainment company and also worked at a law firm in the patent litigation department. Prior to law school, Mr. Hivick worked for an integrated circuit design startup company performing transistor level IC design, layout and verification. Mr. Hivick subsequently worked as a software design engineer in test for a multinational software company in product lines involving relational and hierarchical databases. Mr. Hivick has experience in electrical, mechanical, and software technologies, including analog and digital circuits, business methods, computer graphics and architectures, databases, multi-layer ceramic capacitors, optical amplifiers, Internet-related applications, cloud-based applications, desktop applications, MEMS technology, mobile devices, radio frequency (RF) communication, radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, semiconductors, and medical devices.

Mr. Hivick attended the University of Washington where he received his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering and also received his J.D. from the University of Washington.
